What is Venetian Marble Plastering?
Venetian Marble Plastering isn't a new process. It's just not very well known in the UK. It's something that has been used in Italian architecture for centuries to create beautiful walls and ceilings. Traditional Venetian Plastering is based on crushed marble powders and slaked lime that's been baked in wood-fire kilns and aged for 8/10 months.
Using these natural products means that everything we have is VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) free and eco-friendly, not to mention that they also have many positive characteristics. These include having great insulating and anti-bacterial properties, being non-flammable/combustible, whilst also being highly resistant and versatile. It's this that allows us to create that tailored surface finish for a variety of different situations: be it a wet room, or a feature chimney breast.
And the best thing about Venetian Plastering, apart from its amazing look and feel? The application is a clean process! It doesn't come in powder form like normal plastering, so your room won't be covered in dust!

How we work
We take pride in our friendly and professional approach to any project. From the very first point of contact our clients have our full attention, working with them closely from the initial planning stages, right up to completion. Every aspect of the whole process naturally evolves onto the next.
To begin with, we will go over your requirements, ideas and budget outlines. Next, we will have a look at the different types of finishes we have to offer. To help with your decision, we have an extensive selection of colour catalogues, brochures and sample boards. We believe the samples are vital for our customers, because no pictures will do justice to how our products look and feel!
Once the design is chosen and everything has been agreed in principle, a sample will be created specifically for you. When you are 100% satisfied with the finish, we will commission the work.
