Tadelakt is a waterproof lime plaster used in ancient Moroccan architecture. Originating in the Marrakesh region, Tadelakt was traditionally used in Hammams, the Moroccan steam baths. It has a smooth appearance which is slightly shiny and is used increasingly as a water repellent alternative to tiling in wet rooms, showers, bathrooms and kitchens.
